About the Destination

An 8 km walk through one of AlUla's most storied canyons, where the rock walls carry inscriptions and pictographs left across two millennia. The ground stays flat and walkable throughout. The moderate rating comes from distance, not difficulty, which makes this a steady, rewarding trail for anyone comfortable on their feet for a few hours. As you move through the canyon, your guide reads the walls with you: older carvings weathered deep into the stone, newer marks from the last century, each one a small record of the people who passed this way. It is less about reaching an end point than walking slowly through a gallery written by time. About three hours over 8 km.
