Ali Husain founded Husaak in 2012, an early voice for adventure tourism in Arabia. He came to it the long way round. Trained as a petroleum engineer, he spent years in oil and gas: on the ice in Alaska and the Arctic, offshore in Abu Dhabi, and across the deserts of Oman. That work still shapes how we operate: respect for safety, discipline in delivery, patience for difficult terrain at scale.

He left the energy sector with a quiet conviction: that nature and adventure could stand on their own as a serious economic story for the region, not a side note to oil and gas. The argument has since helped governments and stakeholders see outdoor tourism as a real pillar of diversification, not just recreation.

Working with government partners in Oman and Saudi Arabia, Ali has opened new ground, shaping AlUla into one of the Kingdom's flagship destinations, activating Aseer, taking on concessions like Wadi Dayqah, and unlocking places as quietly powerful as Majlis Al Jinn. Across master planning, product development, and operations on the ground, he holds strategy and execution together, building destinations that are commercially viable and environmentally responsible, and positioning Arabia as a global home for adventure, exploration, and sustainable tourism.

As Partner and COO, Khalid has played a pivotal role in our growth from a small tour operator to a company now serving over 30,000 guests annually across Oman, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.

Khalid's journey began organically. He first crossed paths with Ali on one of the first trips in Oman and never looked back. His career path is as varied as the terrain he explores: a film and TV commercial producer before HUSAAK, his professional background spans finance, consulting, marketing, and software development. This rare combination of creative, technical, and commercial expertise gives Khalid a multidisciplinary edge, one that has proved invaluable in shaping our identity, brand, and operational strategy as the company has grown.

Khalid serves on the Executive Committee and leads the group's Finance, Corporate Services, and Brand Experience functions, a natural fit for someone equally at home crunching numbers and hanging off a cave wall with a camera in one hand and a rope in the other. He draws on his professional background to develop travel concepts and build partnerships with local tourism stakeholders.

For Khalid, It was never just a business venture. As he puts it: "Being part of this concept and seeing the very real impact it's having on people's lives has been such a gratifying experience for me." That sense of purpose, making the outdoors accessible and positioning Arabia as one of the world's great travel destinations, is what continues to drive him.

Hassan is a tourism and adventure operations professional with extensive experience in building and managing destination experiences across Saudi Arabia. With a background in Medical Engineering and a lifelong passion for the outdoors, he brings an unusual combination to his work: the systematic precision of an engineer and the instincts of someone who has spent years in the field. That combination, applied to adventure tourism, hospitality, and destination development, is what gives his leadership its particular edge.

Since joining in 2019, Hassan has played a key role in the company's expansion across the Kingdom. Starting as an adventure guide, he quickly progressed into leadership roles and now serves as Partner and KSA Country Manager. Over that time, he has helped shape the Saudi operations from its earliest form, building the programs, partnerships, and on-the-ground infrastructure that now underpin the company's presence across the country.

For Hassan, the move from adventure guide to Country Manager is not incidental. Saudi Arabia's outdoor landscape is being introduced to the world at a rare moment in the country's history, and the people who understand it from the ground up, who have walked the terrain and mapped the routes, are the ones best placed to shape what it becomes.
